The Manhattan Beach Preschool follows the same 180 day/10 month calendar as all of the District's schools, observing all the same holidays and closures. Optional Camps are offered during vacation breaks.

This program offers children ages 3-5 who are already toilet trained, the following:

• A preschool program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


• Flexible scheduling: 5 days, 3 days (M/W/F), or 2 days (T/Th) days per week.


• Healthy morning snack.


• Lunch period from 12:00 - 12:30 with lunch brought from home or bought in the cafeteria.

This program offers children ages 3-5 who are toilet trained the following:

• Extended hours, 7:00 a.m. to 5:55 p.m. with flexible drop-off and pick-up times.


• Flexible scheduling: 5 days, 3 days (M/W/F), or 2 days (T/Th) per week.


• Follows preschool program from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.


• Healthy morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch from on-site Food Services if desired.


• Nap/rest period.


• Lunch from home or bought in the cafeteria.

This program offers children who are 2-years-old the following:

• Enforce toileting routine, started at home.


• Half Day and Full Day programs.


• Flexible scheduling: 5 days, 3 days (M/W/F), or 2 days (T/Th) per week.


• Healthy morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch from on-site Food Services if desired.


• Nap/rest period for full day class.
