The sixth grade humanities program encompasses social science and language
arts.
In social science, we will be studying the ancient world. Language arts includes the
study of literature, writing, spelling and grammar.

Homework Policy:
1. All homework should be written into the planner each day
2. If you are absent, call a study buddy to get the assignments for that day. Missed work is expected to be turned in on your first day back whenever possible
3. If you don’t have a homework assignment when it is due, you must turn in either a homework slip or a homework pass
4. If you don’t return your signed homework slip by the second day, you will receive a detention slip
