Title: Spanish I
Students will study the first semester of Spanish I as part of the 2-year foreign language requirement (3-4 years for college requirement). Students will learn Spanish vocabulary and grammar through listening, oral participation, and written assignments and tests. At the end of the year, students will take a 115 point multiple-choice exam to help determine placement into Spanish II
Homework Assignments:
El cuatro de marzo Tener que y hay que – see p. 109 en text. Do p. 40 en cuaderno. Also, do worksheet on hay and tener que. Follow the model.
El once de marzo Do pp. 44-46 en cuaderno. Do p. 127, act. 8 en texto. Quiz Friday on verbo “ir”. Also, need to know the meanings of the words on p. 126 La Vida Diaria.
El trece de marzo Quiz tomorrow. Need to know: 1) How to answer questions – see p. 43, act. 8 en cuaderno 2) Translation: verb “IR” + a la or al + location. See text p. 127, act 8 for list of locations. 3) Words from “La Vida Diaria” (see p. 107 - La Vida Diaria – there will be a word bank but you need to know the meanings and how to conjugate the verbs.
