The Manhattan Beach Preschool is committed to providing a high quality preschool education for children ages 2 through 5 years.  At the Manhattan Beach Preschool, we focus on creating an interesting and nurturing environment where children experience a variety of age-appropriate activities that focus on developing a broad range of skills.

The Manhattan Beach Preschool's experienced and credentialed staff understand the skills required to meet the challenges of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District's school-aged programs.  They have created a learning environment that encourages and challenges children to develop the appropriate cognitive, social, communication, physical, and self-help skills that form the foundation for later learning in their elementary school years and beyond.

The Manhattan Beach Preschool's programs are based on a child-centered philosophy.  Daily activities are planned and implemented according to the individual interests and needs of the child.  Through play and hands-on experience, the use of developmentally appropriate materials and interactions with knowledgeable and caring adults, children develop the skills necessary to become confident, independent, and successful learners.
