The Crucible by Arthur MillerStudents are encouraged to annotate their texts in preparation for their assessments upon their return. Common assessments include: an objective test on A Farewell to Arms, a short response assessment that involves analyzing passages from A Farewell to Arms, and an objective test on The Crucible. Some honors teachers may do additional work with these texts beyond the common assessments.

Lincoln in the Bardo by George SaundersPrior to the first day of school, incoming English AP students are also required to answer a series of questions that require them to apply the techniques outlined in Foster’s book to the novel by Saunders.
