This Is MBMS | Incoming 6th Grade Family Night
Manhattan Beach Middle School invites current 5th grade families to join us for This Is MBMS on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 6:00–7:30 PM. This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about MBMS, explore our programs, and get a feel for what to expect as students transition to middle school.
To ensure we are inclusive of all families, this event has been rescheduled from April 1 to April 15 in recognition of Passover observances. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you on the new date. The timing also aligns with upcoming counselor visits to MBUSD elementary schools, allowing families to engage with information that is fresh and relevant.
The evening will begin with a welcome and overview in the MBMS Gym, followed by rotating sessions where families can learn more about academic programs, electives, and student supports.
Tentative Schedule:
• 6:00–6:30 PM: Welcome & Introduction (MBMS Gym)
• 6:35–6:50 PM: Session Rotation 1
• 6:55–7:10 PM: Session Rotation 2
• 7:15–7:30 PM: Session Rotation 3
