Welcome to the Health and Welfare Benefits page. This page provides information about the Health and Welfare benefits offered to employees. The benefits plan year is from October 1 - September 30 of each year.

Open enrollment for the 2020-2021 School Year runs from August 14 to September 14, 2020.  You may review and update your benefit elections through the Ease portal.

To enroll in a Flex Spending Account (FSA) or DependentCare Spending Account (DCSA) through American Fidelity (AF), go to to schedule a virtual appointment.  Select a date and time, and an AF representative will contact you, send a link, and walk you through enrollment and answer any questions.

If you selected any of the Anthem Blue Cross plans, we encourage you to go to Anthem's website, and register. You can register using either the ID number from your insurance card, or your social security number.

District-provided Benefits: The Hartford

The district pays for long term insurance and life insurance coverage for all employees that work at least fifty percent at no cost to employees. Click the appropriate link below for an overview of these benefits:

COBRA is the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act which amended the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Internal Revenue Code and the Public Health Service Act to provide continuation of group health coverage that otherwise might be terminated. COBRA provides certain former employees, retirees, spouses, former spouses, and dependent children the right to temporary continuation of health coverage at group rates.
