As of the time of publication and distribution of this 2024-25 exemption form, the passage of Measure MB has not been certified. In the event that Measure MB does not pass, the Parcel Tax will not be assessed and therefore your exemption application will not be processed; you will not be contacted in this circumstance.

  ! IMPORTANT !
  • SENIOR EXEMPTIONS: If your application was approved for a previous tax year, you do not need to reapply.  You will automatically receive the Senior Citizen Exemption for the entire term of the parcel tax, so long as you continue to own and occupy the property listed on your approved application as your principal place of residence. 
  • SSI & SSD EXEMPTIONS: Persons who may qualify for supplemental security income (SSI) or social security disability (SSD) exemptions must apply and qualify annually for an exemption.  
 
Exemption Forms for the 2024-2025 Tax Year are due by May 15, 2024.
(Please note that exemption Forms for the 2023-24 Tax Year were due May 15, 2023 and are no longer being accepted.)
Property owners age 65 or older, those receiving Supplemental Security Income for a disability, or those receiving Social Security Disability Insurance may be eligible for an exemption from the Measure MB parcel tax.  Please download and review the eligibility requirements on the following forms:
