You thought Girls tennis was over, right? Well, not so fast....
Costa singles star Maegan Manasse beat West Covina's Alexis Valenzuela in the Round of 16 and San Clemente's Sophia Bott in the quarter finals of the CIF Southern Section Individuals this past Thursday.
Maegan finished the job this past Friday, winning the CIF Southern Section Individual title, the first area female to win the honor since 1994! She's also Mira Costa's first girls tennis player to win a CIF Individual title. She beat Palm Desert's Desirae Krawczyk in the final at the Seal Beach Tennis Center and finished the high school season undefeated, a 32-0 record. Congratulations, Maegan!!!!
