The MBUSD Board of Trustees hired Education Support Services Group (ESS) and approved the tentative timeline for the new superintendent search process. An important part of the search is to engage staff, families, and community regarding what they would like to see in the next superintendent of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District. The Board welcomed input through an online survey, and the search firm also conducted various in-person and virtual meetings with representative employee, student, and parent groups during the month of February. The Leadership Profile report was presented to and approved by the Board of Trustees on February 25 (see below).
