Kids Learning
Dr. Kimberlie “Kim” Linz has officially been approved by the MBUSD Board of Trustees as the next Superintendent of Manhattan Beach Unified School District and will begin her role on July 1. A familiar face to the MBUSD community, Dr. Linz previously served as principal of both Pacific Elementary and Manhattan Beach Middle School before joining El Segundo Unified School District as Chief Business Official. With nearly three decades of experience in education, she is widely recognized for her student-centered leadership, strong communication skills, and expertise in school finance and operations. Dr. Linz will succeed Superintendent Dr. John Bowes following his retirement at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year.
