2022-2023 OPEN ENROLLMENT IS CLOSED
Open Enrollment closed on September 7th 2022. Elections made during Open
Enrollment go into effect on October 1st 2022. Making changes to benefit elections
after the Open Enrollment window may only be done if you are a new employee or
if you experience a qualifying event (e.g., marriage, divorce, birth of child, etc.)
All 50%+ employees are eligible to participate in the health benefit plans.

AF Open Enrollment is from 8/22/22 to 9/7/22. To schedule a virtual appointment. Select a date and time, and an AF representative will contact you, send a link, and walk you through enrollment and answer any questions.

Medicare Advantage Plans for Employees or Retirees with Medicare: |
Retirees and employees over 65 that enroll in Medicare for medical coverage now have the option to enroll in District provided "Medicare Advantage Plans" through Kaiser or SCAN. These plans provided enhanced coverages and benefits to the basic Medicare coverages. Information on each plan can be found here:

COBRA is the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act which amended the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Internal Revenue Code and the Public Health Service Act to provide continuation of group health coverage that otherwise might be terminated.
