Employment Information

The MBUSD Governing Board is determined to provide a safe, positive environment where all district employees are assured of full and equal employment access and opportunities, protection from harassment and intimidation, and freedom from any fear of reprisal or retribution for asserting their employment rights in accordance with thelaw. For purposes of this policy, employees include job applicants, interns, volunteers, and persons who contracted with the district to provide services, as applicable.

Application Process: 

We accept applications through https://www.edjoin.org/MBUSD.
 
First, an EDJOIN profile needs to be completed before being able to complete an application for any open position.  A separate application is required for each job. If the position is no longer posted on EDJOIN prior to the posted closing date, we may have received a good response for that position and at this time are no longer accepting applications.
 
Classified Positions:

All positions that do not require a credential for teaching (Grades K -12) or administration are considered Classified Positions. Depending on the position, other credentials or certifications may be required.

To complete an application for a classified position, apply at EDJOIN. Any applicants that have previously submitted a paper application will need to complete an online application for any future openings. For additional information call (310) 318-7345 Ext. 5916. Resumes are NOT accepted in place of the application.
Certificated Positions:

All positions that require a credential for teaching (Grades K -12) or administration are considered Certificated Positions. Depending on the position, other credentials or certifications may also be required.
To complete an application for an open teaching or administrative position apply at EDJOIN. For additional information call (310) 318-7345 Ext. 5914. Resumes are NOT accepted in place of the application.
Substitutes for Classified and Certificated Positions:

Openings for substitute teachers, clerks, instructional assistants, and other positions will be posted on EDJOIN.

To complete an application for an open Substitute position, apply at EDJOIN. Applications are only accepted when a position is posted on our website.
